Affirmation of Baptism
Sunday, May 15 at the 11:00AM worship service has been set aside for eighth grade students who have successfully completed their confirmation ministry. This is a wonderful student-led worship, and a wonderful celebration around which to gather family, friends, and godparents. Students will need to have filled out their registration form (indicating their name as they want it to appear and Bible verse), complete a Faith Project, and have a conversation with a pastor. You should have received information about this in the mail already. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Teaching and Acolyte Sign-ups
We need acolytes for the 7:00AM & 8:30AM Easter services! If you are planning to attend either service with your child in confirmation, please consider signing them up as this enhances the worship experience of our many guests. Also, we just need more help on Easter in worship, so their leadership is very much valued!
Thank you to everyone who has helped to teach Confirmation so far this school year. Students have been very receptive to this, and everyone has done a wonderful job teaching and sharing their faith. Remember that we need parents to help teach confirmation classes throughout the year. You can sign-up to teach and have your child acolyte by following the links below, or going to the Confirmation website and looking under the links tab:
If you are having trouble with either link, please email Aaron to sign up.
Both lists will also be posted on the bulletin board outside the
Youth Room (downstairs) if you wish to sign-up that way.
Another way to fulfill those worship service hours is to sign-up as a reader for the second Sunday of any month at the 11:00AM service. Spots are still open starting on April 10 and throughout the rest of 2016. Email Aaron to sign-up.
